Pushing 330,000 All Different Worldwide Stamps In One Collection .

"Mine is bigger than yours " That was never the point ,because I really don't know what is out there with other collectors , have already been blown away by many others here and the nice stuff they have and by others who have nice collections .

I am a worldwide collector ,I have the same collection I had at 7 years old ,it just bigger. Just want to see how far I can go on my journey . For me it is a hobby not a investment .

Oh by the way ,I have over 100 packages of Dennison Hinges , guess that means if I live long enough I plan to change that title to 430,000 all different worldwide stamps , that is my plan over the next 20 years .

Thanks for the comments. I do hope you realize my bigger than yours comment was said in a humorous manner not a one upsmanship tone. I too am just a collector. I guess I may have actually started thinking about stamps at the same age. My mother had dragged me along to church where they were sending letters to missionaries and I remembered the stamps they were using were funny looking. They were Schermack perfed. Never forgot that for some reason.

All the long time readers and posters know that every few years my collection goes in different directions ,for example I worked on getting a stamp from every issuing country or political divide ,then got into Cinderella stamps when a famous collector and expert died and his collection came up for auction . Then got into Fakes and Forgeries after visiting the APS HQ's and seeing the mess they had and thought that should all be organized and in binders {got 13 binders of fakes } in some kind of order .

Then got into finding and buying stamps that rarely come up for public sale .that led to buying completed long sets . So that is where I am now ,filling album pages with complete sets .For some reason people here react better to those items than stuff like China Liberated Area's and stamps from the Viet Cong or the Black Flag Republic or even German Local Post after WWII .
So I will move on to something else some day maybe Spanish Civil War issues .

Interesting set, wonder how many of those were postally used? The Germans were on the run by then!

Here is something rarely seen on this side of the pond . Very few collectors have a complete set of all the different sets of Netherlands Syncopated Perfs. Examples are on this page .

It's great to see the perf types on the one page and it's also good to see the mint 1906 set rather than the usual cancelled remainders.

Lucky for Pre-1940 Scott International series album Vol. I collectors ,That
this set from Italy was excluded from the album.

I know most of you have no interest in the Dennison Stamp Hinges , but their are a few who use Steiner Pages or are filling spaces in other popular albums .

I think we will be close to six months that no boxes {those are boxes of 50 packages of hinges } have come on the market of both Dennison Hinges or even Fold-O-Hinges . A good sign they are getting to be rare ,this can also mean dealers who sell better hinges are also running out . Give it a few more months with the recent activity on ebay they will be running out ,these prices of $30.00 to $35.00 should hold maybe a few month .

I have to believe once these dealers sell out then it will come down to only sellers who have one or two packages will be the only source .

I am always on the lookout, in my local marketplace, for small collections to buy ($25 or less), if I see one or more packages of old hinges in the photos. Whatever stamps I find in these collections I consider freebies. I found 9 packs of Fold-O-Hinge in one such collection, not long ago. I refuse to pay the high prices. I muddle along, picking up one or 2 here and there and I've managed to squirrel enough away that will no doubt last my collecting life.

Those Netherlands synch perfs are soo cool floortrader, I have never seen these before. Also, I love the Italy air post stamps. Thanks for posting both sets!
