I believe you are right it is an issue with my printer I tested with a lighter weight paper on an email and it did the same thing. Yes it seems it does it in the same spot. After printing the same steiner page multiple times the messed up boxes were all the same. I tried to press the button that said fix alignment and the printer went through a process for a minute or so then said alignment failed. It's really frustrating because I was so excited to finally start mounting stamps and creating my new albums for my ultimate system and I have lots of time right now cause I run a lawncare and landscaping business and we are very slow this time of year in Ohio. Yes I understand I will not get the money out I put in. Nothing I do with stamps is thinking about it as an investment. I just do it cause I love the hobby. When I pass someday (hopefully a long time off I'm 40) down the road my collection will go to my daughter to do with what she wants and if she decides to sell and get a little money out of it then that would be great but I probably will never sell unless it's just things like duplicates and extra material I don't need.

I'd consider a laser printer for the job. Much faster in any case.

KyleB - I've had an issue similar with my printer when printing in Draft or Regular mode. When printing stamp pages, I always change the Quality to High and this fixes the problem for me. Hope this helps!

paperhistory - I print my pages using an inkjet printer...I've had laser printer pages that flaked off after only a few years. Not sure what experience others have had with this.

The best printer is top-loading printer. That way the pages won't curl.

If you're shopping for a printer and you plan to use heavier paper stock, one feature to look for is a straight-through printer path. Sometimes there is a bypass tray or a rear exit option that can be used to keep the paper path basically flat.

As we continue into 2025 ,I plan to continue working on building up the amount of complete sets I have, plus continue to buy those unusual sets from countries that many other collectors have as weak areas of their collection . Kind of a fun project going forward

Over the many years of reading and maintaining a very large library of Stamp auction firms catalogs it is always interesting how their lot describers write about those worldwide collections they are putting up for auction .

I guess I look for clues to how they explain what they are looking at and what gets their heart rate up . Words like "the usual suspects " "not checked for cancels ,watermarks and perf's tell me it is all cheap stuff , " "collection from A to Z" tells me common material .

Correction. My memory finally kicked in. The laer printing stuck to the plastic binders.

Agree with Eyeonwall ....you also see the ink stick from the page to those plastic page protectors .

Well I just decided to go get a new printer. I am excited to announce I have the very 1st page for my ultimate Worldwide system mounted and completed. What do you all think?
