hello all. would you say it was allright to cut up farley imperforated sheets to get the stamps required to fill the spaces in the united states harris album. as I am not sure what to do for the best. regards ken

Ken - You can get Scott MNH 756-65 for $20 or under so there isn't a lot of reason to destroy more sheets unless you really feel no other way is achievable. That is my opinion anyway.

I would not cut up Farley sheets just to satisfy the whims of the album makers.

However, collect to way that makes the most sense to you and your level of interest.

If you have sheets, then you have the position pieces, although all-together! I would leave them intact.

If you are determined to "collect the album", the various position pieces have a high survival rate among collectors and are regularly offered on places like ebay, and often in groupings at a significant discount off the catalog value with some patience. I recently bought a grouping of National Parks NH plate blocks for less than 7% of Scott, although that was atypically low.

There are tons of Farleys out there in every configuration imaginable. No need to cut up anything.

hello . thanks for your replies. sorry no camera at the moment,so cant send pics, I shall leave the farley sheets intact and go looking on ebay. its nice to know I can get good addvice on this forum, once again thank you all. regards ken.
