I have this stamp I think it is a 525 does it at more value with the blank beside it

Your scan is a bit faraway view, but the stamp does not appear to be offset printed which rules out 525. It also appears to be per 12 which would make it a 405. The blank paper is called selvedge and generally does not add any value. It could add value for some issues especially if it has a plate number or other marking. Hope this helps. Can you check the perf rate?

Let me add to the above, selvage for that issue was blank there by design. See illustration below.

If you ever buy sheets (panes) of stamps at the post office, you will see all sorts of printing and information printed on the outer edge of the pane which not valid as postage.
