One I am longing to add to my collection one day in the future... Right now I can only afford a facsimile... |

I'm going through some covers left to me from my father and like the Bicentennial of Port-Au-Prince stamp. I Love all of the other posts. |

I had not noticed this topic before. I have a weakness for biplanes myself, even if the South-West Africa is not one. Undying gratitude if you can tell me what planes are illustrated in these. |

Here's a little something from Bulgaria 1969. First Mate Rod222 may wish to included it in his tall ships collection. |

I knew this thread needed a bump...great stuff, all. That Viet Nam airmail positively leaps off the screen. I'll have to put that one on my list. |

It is rather lovely isn't it. The great thing is that they are really affordable too. Scott #C10 $2.75 .50c |

The stamp has perforated printing but is actually imperforated. Like the WW2 history behind it. Found the below blurb on the web. WWII Air Squadron and Soviet Tank Monument in Ulaabaatar, Mongolia. The tank on the monument left Moscow in 1943 and battled to Berlin in 1945. |
