Menz, you are fortunate you have your Dad's collection to build on..my kids have their own interests or would not have the patience required for stamp collecting..i will suggest they take my collection some day to our stamp club where they will at least receive something for them..my wife has Europa collections starting from the beginning..they should really go to an auction house..why should I dwell on these things now ??? |

Here's interesting airmail cover. I have no books with South America, so I would appreciate any help. Thanks. |

B. the stamps on your Argentine cover are from a long running set 1935-1951..if I had to guess I would say the cover was from the 1940's !! |

Another favourite of mine is this one. Harks back to a time when airmail was in its infancy. |

Looks like Bleriot's monoplane, on it's first mail run in Australia it carried mail, and a consignment of chilli cordial!

Bought some Colombian stamps a few months back. Here's 2 Airmail stamps from the lot. I love the Forest stamp myself as well as the History of Aviation Stamp colors If anyone knows about these please share. |
