Keep persisting, good scans are the backbone of ID here.

Rather than scanning the entire platen Paul, scan "Blocks" of fewer stamps

Platen set at 200dpi, blocks set at 300 to 400, single stamps at 600dpi

Here are your stamps "cut into blocks"
See how much better they are?

These are only 93 -121 Kb (Click to expand)

Here is a scan at 600dpi by drawing a "Marquee" (or carousel)
around a stamp (preview the platen first )

(Barely over 200Kb)

Nice pages with mostly London cancels. You might also want to determine the plates from which a number of these stamps have been printed.

Nice little array

With so many South cancels, I wonder if there was a single source for these stamps?

really lovely stamps. I really enjoy early GB stamps. I am slow to collect them - but treasure them.

I like the first one, because it has my initials, though backwards, which is the only way I can get them except on the half penny bantam. "SB"

So, that is why they introduced the 'letters-in-all-corners' stamps.
