I'm sure it is not comme il faut to repost an image in the same topic, but (a) we have lots of new members, and (b) all this modern Australia just cries out for the classics...

Here is an unusual specimen from Transvaal -



Sadly, this beauty is now in stamp heaven. Somehow it managed to become caught or affixed between pages in an album and it was torn in half. A tragic loss really, because there aren't many of these about.

Lovely scans as usual Plateflaw.
The last 3 designs have very
unusual colour combinations.
I am undecided as to whether they work or not
