The overprint of this SG O50 KEVII, stamp does not look like the one on other stamps from the same issue. It's is shifting and bending to the right side of the stamp. Is this considered to be a error?

Do you mean that the perforation is somewhat tilted? That would be a minor variety.
The overprint looks very fake. I am not aware this was ever applied other than straight.

Why would a Government parcels stamp,
be cancelled by a Machine Letter Cancel?

Obviously a Forgery.

Another quick check is to see if the overprint is over or under the cancel.

Also, the overprint is too grainy; genuine are solid and uniform throughout. The top of the T should be level with the tops of other letters. This looks like the overprint has been drawn, actually.

Yes, the perforations doesn't look right. You all have a shrewd eye to detail.
The only ting that I was able to see in the stamp was the bending of the overprint on one side. I havent heard or know anything about such variation and after all post concludes tath it's not genuine so it's a forgery.
hy-brasil,
I must say tath explanation given by you is very interesting. If I have understood correctly the overprint which is placed over the cancel of the stamp is a clever painting made by hand from the forgerer .
It's quite unusual I have never encountered such artistic exercise on stamp before. I wonder how they did it ?
