I was given some stamp pages from an old BOB album. There was a page of PR9-32 stamps affixed that look like they were printed on thick cardstock. No question about whether they are real or not - too pristine and printed on thick almost cardstock-like paper - but wondering if anyone had any info on what these are exactly or where they might have originated.

Thanks!

Plate proofs on card, or "card proofs". PR9P4 - PR32P4. Look up Proofs in the Scott Specialized. Catalog value about $12-$15 each if in VF condition. The one pictured is cut a little close, smudged, and has a dinged corner, so worth much less to a collector of proofs who likes them pristine. Hang on to them and enjoy the beautiful engraving.

Wow - sorry for the ginormous image. Will scale that down more next time! Thanks for the explanation! I hadn't thought of proofs.

Love all of the knowledgeable and friendly folks here!
