Stanley Gibbons describes the stamp (SG1612) as "Deaconess and nurse". Anyway, the deaconesses all received nursing training, and nursing was an important part of their work. |

geilichina ....... That one sort of creeps me out.... Maybe it's the nurse/ninja looking shadow face... My wife is a nurse as well and I made her a little box for work with the US nurse stamps on it for her locker. I'm a fireman/EMT ... I know there are a couple firemen stamps but does anyone know about an EMT stamp? |
