Good Afternoon,

I have a South Africa stamp South Africa 1935 SG 65a SC 68 with numerous issues. I'm aware of the "Cleft Skull" variety but there is more going on here than just that...Could be something and could be nothing. Viewer's choice.

1 - Vertical black line through left stamp "SILVER"
2 - Damaged or broken "L" in right stamp SILWER
3 - Cleft Skull variety
4 - Re-entry / Double Transfer DT of bottom right value 1/2d

Please stay on topic and comment about this stamp and this stamp only.

FULL STAMP

LEFT STAMP - BLACK LINE THROUGH SILVER

RIGHT STAMP - CLEFT SKULL

RIGHT STAMP - VALUE RE-ENTRY / DOUBLE TRANSFER DT

RIGHT STAMP - BROKEN OR DAMAGED "L" IN SILWER

If my terminology is wrong - I will edit the post.

Looks like a vertical line through the head of the S also in your last image.

No1philatelist -Nice catch! Wow, another one added to the list... I did NOT see that one - forest / trees.

Maybe I should call this one "Murphy's Stamp" after the infamous "Murphy's Law: Anything that can go wrong will go wrong."

5. Vertical black line through head of "S" in Silwer on right stamp

This line is likely what broke the bottom of the "L" in "Silwer" - In fact, I'm almost positive now - Just follow the path of the line straight down and you'll see it intersects.
