Hello. Could someone help with identifying this stamp please? It looks similar to old Austrian stamps I have but the currency on this is different. The poor thing is in a state so if I can get a country at least I can pop it into one of my old school hinged albums to live out its days. Thanks.

Not entirely sure, but depending on the perfs, Austria Offices of the Turkish Empire either Scott 6 or 7J.

Others may have better information.

The Scott 6 has 4 color variants. Both 6 and 7 are perf comb 9.5 .

bankruptcollector is right. You should measure the perforations. There are few combinations which are more valuable than others. You could akso check the link below.
