I just discovered that I posted this in a much older thread, but never made sure to ask my question correctly. This is Scott K1, the 2c on 1c green on a postcard dated September 10, 1922 which makes it valid for the time issued (from July 1, 1919 to December 1922). What is nice is that it is on a postcard showing almost the complete duplex cancel ("U.S. Pos. Service Shanghai / China"). Perfs check out at 11 all-around. Does anyone have a wild guess for value on a postcard?

Also, does anyone have any information on the S.S. Pres. Madison? I can only find one link to a photo of the ship moored to China Merchants Central Dock, Shanhai at: https://www.virtualshanghai.net/Pho...ges?ID=34829

I found two quick references at this excellent website. I'll have to look in much more detail.

This produces some results but these were sold in 2010 as shown on Siegel's Power Search: https://siegelauctions.com/lot_grd....tFirst=First

Edited to add missing "re" on a word and:

Text and a photo of the ship as it tried to roll in dry-dock, killing one.

You were quick I just edited my above post for your second question. Folks need to remember this is a 1920 ship not the later version.
