If the sender had readdressed the letter to Schenectady it never would have gone to Saratoga Springs and would not have the Saratoga Springs date stamp. Even if it were somehow misdirected to Saratoga Springs, it would not have been charged the 3 cent forwarding fee if the letter were initially addressed to Schenectady.
