I don't collect US stamps but this was in a job lot I am looking through and I liked the V postmark because the V looks broken and I like the unusual. I decided to do some investigating and I think this comes from the NY station that was at the corner of West Broadway and Canal Street.

Curious to see what is there now I popped in a wee search to Google maps and found there is a current USPS site on Canal Street. The USPS blurb says The United States Post Office Canal Street Station, originally known as "Station B", is a historic post office building located at 350 Canal Street.

The resource I am using for NY postmarks has station B listed as 382 Grand Street and station V as corner West Broadway and Canal. Does anyone have a definitive list of NY station postmarks they could steer me towards please?

Station V per the USPOD Postal Guide for January 1906 lists that address.

The other office you discuss is unrelated and for 1906 Station B is listed as at the corner of Grand and Attorney streets. Which today is not a vehicle intersection, Grands exists there but Attorney Street is but a named pathway for folks and bikes. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.715...aePpQ!2e0!6shttps://streetviewpixels-pa.googlea...92?entry=ttu
