Hi everyone! I'm at a loss when it comes to this stamp and I'm hoping for any help that this community can provide.

I previously posted on Reddit's group r/philately, and here's what we figured out: I've had it confirmed that this is not a stamp that appears in the Scott Classic or regular Scott catalogues, that it also doesn't show up under Romania in the Michel catalogue. Additionally, neither I nor someone else have been having any luck searching for it under Romanian tax, revenue and other types of stamps on StampWorld or romaniastamps.com. Keyword searches aren't helping, and reverse image search doesn't show results.

Basically, all I know at this point is that it's most likely Romanian (bani is a currency only used there), and it's almost certainly a cinderella... but I have no idea what type or what year.

Note the "P S" on the flag. Someone suggested it could actually be "A S," referring to the "Asistenta Sociala" often written on Romanian revenue stamps.

As I said, I'm at a loss. Any information would be appreciated because this mystery has been driving me nuts. Thank you in advance!

The PS looks more like PUYS. And the flag looks to me like a map. Maybe it will help you.

PS could refer to the Romanian socialist party, Partidul Socialist.

Membership fee comes to mind.

I agree with NSK
Another "stamp" with the same design but a different face value can be found here :

Holy, thank you guys! I had even previously scanned through the "Odds and sods" page, but clearly not carefully enough. I can rest peacefully now.

Thanks again :)
