Does anyone collect stamps of Barbados? I just started working on my collection of them and I have noticed that some stamps were printed but never issued. I was wondering why this happened. Did someone change their mind about them and then just allowed an employee to just take them home instead of destroying them? Hoping someone else is interested in Barbados too. John

John --- Not seeing them ,I could only guess that they were not authorised ,sort of like if you and me find a printer and start selling them on our own ,this was done by people in more than a few countries .

If you are referring to the slate-blue and slate stamps of the 1852 type without value, these were never shipped to Barbados. They are remainders from Perkins Bacon sold in the 1880s.

Note: information can be found in a catalogue.
