I actually came into my collection a bit ago, however I didn't really start going through it until recently. I have basically gone through and separated most of the stamps by denomination. There is also some vintage world class stamps that are canceled. I also have some celebrity sheets of elvis and princess diana. I also have mint sets 2 of each from 1971-1991. There is so many its kind of over whelming to try to take on the task of organizing them I am not sure how the best way is to go about it, I purchased some stamp display pages and started placing the loose stamps in them. I have about 4 pages full now and im not sure that I like them its kind of hard to get the stamps in them, I feel like I damaged a couple putting them in there and it takes for ever. I feel like I would be there for months. Is this the best option because as of now they are in ziplock bags and envelopes mostly and I feel like they are safe how ever I can't see them to know what is all there. Also as for the mint sets am I right to assume that they are worth more staying sealed instead of displayed? Lastly some of the stamps are stuck together there is a pile of them I have read that putting them in the freezer can help to get them apart with least damage is that true?

With respect, by the looks of things, nothing in that pile is remotely "world class." You appear to have acquired a hoard of modern US stamps, as if quite literally the original purchaser felt compelled to buy every new issue, only to throw them into a box and never look at them again. I'd suggest saving one of each, and using the rest for postage. Or selling them for a few cents on the dollar, or donating them. These aren't (IMO) worth more than face value or spending more than a few minutes on.

There are many ways to going through your collection.

One way could be placing one of each in stockbooks. It would give you a nice overview. Feel free to separate your stamps by country, topic or denomination, since if you change your mind, you can easily reorganize them.

And the rest: Keep them in a dry place

The "collection's" greatest monetary value is in being used as or sold for postage. It's entertainment value on the other hand is something only you can decide. You can do both. Assemble a collection to look at AND sell/use as postage.

Welcome.
The freezer method can work in some situations. But it is important to note that once stamp have become stuck the gum will always be 'disturbed' (at best) and ruined (at worst). This, and the fact that post-1940 stamps were typically issued in the millions and beyond demand explains why you are getting opinions that include using/selling them as postage.

But stamp collecting offers enjoyment beyond monetary value and what you have shown can be an entry point into many years of educational and intrinsic pleasure.

The question is, do you want to save some or all of the stamps to start a real collection (right now, it is an accumulation) ...

here are some basics about inheriting a collection - https://stamps.org/services/inherited-a-collection .. or here is an online book:

http://www.inheritedstampcollection.com/index.htm

real collecting takes time and effort and can be a very enjoyable pastime

or do you just want to sell it? If the latter, find a stamp show and take the U.S. stamps to 2 or 3 dealers to see if you can get an offer

the stamps that are stuck together are not really collectible; if you get them unstuck you can use for postage (use glue, NOT tape) to attach them to envelopes
