Interesting. Scott mentions that the 3 and the 6 definitely come with inverts but all others require incredulity when handling. My question for anyone who knows is: why was the sheetlet issued? Was it in some kind of booklet of all the values? Note the little holes in the margin like a staple or something |

In the spink auction stamps the vertical perfs at the bottom start out left too right 1,2,3,4,5. At the top in reverse; 0,1,2,3 |

What are you implying? That the Spink piece was a fake? That mine is a fake? |

perf12 - your response may have useful information, but it is a bit cryptic. Looking at the oldboldandbrash sheetlets, the vertical perforations vary the starting position at the top and bottom, with differing numbers of vertical perforations between the stamps.
For example on the 9ch sheetlet, the bottom perforations starting from left are 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, or thereabouts (as the vertical perforation alignment appears to slant down from left to right. Is THIS the perforation numbering you are referring to?
So, what is the significance wrt authenticity? |

Where the perforations start and/or end has zero to do with anything. If you spend a good amount of time searching, you will find examples of these sheetlets in both vertical and horizontal format and the perforations start and end with no uniformity. These were produced in small numbers with much hand work such as when perforating the sheetlets. No doubt as to genuineness. |

I am personally curious to know if J. Enschede en Zn were only the printers.
The poor quality of the perforations is not what I would expect form J. Enschede at all.
