Unless I've missed it, it doesn't seem that one of these has made an appearance yet:



One of two 1918 Czech "scout" stamps (now listed in Scott as Czechoslovakia OL1 and OL2), when scouts delivered the mail to assist in setting up the new country.

Fakes and forgeries abound. Some of the various cancellation devices were in private hands for years, creating lots of pieces and covers.

For anyone interesting in Boy Scout special cancellations, this one appeared in the May 19th issue of the Postal Bulletin and is scheduled for use on May 20, 2011 in Canton, North Carolina. You can send a SASE to the address noted within 30 days if you want a copy of the cancel for your own collection:

Here is an image of a stamp depicting Scouting's fleur-de-lis insignia and a double carrick bend, designed and engraved by Jules Piel, and issued by France on August 2, 1947 to publicize the 6th World Boy Scout Jamboree held at Moisson, August 9th - 18th, Scott No, 587, Y&T No. 787.
