Hello, first time poster, long-time amateur collector.

It's been a habit of mine to try collect 'special' postmarks when I travel anywhere in the world as part of memories of my trip and oftentimes motivated me to travel off the beaten path. I will be heading out to the Nordics soon and I can't seem to find much information on them.

Examples of the registry I'm talking about:
Australia - https://australiapostcollectables.c...stmarks#tab2
Japan - https://www.post.japanpost.jp/kitte.../stamp/fuke/

Would anyone know if something like these or similar exist for Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden?

Thank you very much for the help!

You might run into difficulty there. Sweden does not have post offices. You buy stamps in retail outlets, mostly supermarkets or gas stations. Some have a counter for postal services. Some have rolls of stamps in the cash till. You post the mail by dropping it in one of the mailboxes. It is processed at large letter sorting centres. Going to a post office asking for a special handstamp may be problematic.

Thank you. That might be what I feared. So far I've only identified two locations but you have to search all over the Internet to find any mention of it. So sad.
- Nordkapp in Norway
- Santa Claus Village in Finland

Please do add any you know of. Thank you!

In the meantime I may try contacting each country's postal customer service when I have some spare time.

I think I found the registry for Norway's Posten. I guess it's called 'Special Cancellations' there:
https://www.posten.no/en/stamps-col...ancellations
https://www.posten.no/en/stamps-col...ustable-date

In Norwegian:
https://www.posten.no/frimerker-til...ing/stempler

1 down, 4 more to go.
