Hi there, I've inherited some jersey stamps, some have a face value of £100 all franced. Advice on value etc would be a great help.

Jersey postage stamps with £ 100 face value do not exist. That sounds like a fiscal stamp and even that is a questionable face value for such. Can you share pictures?
What is franced? Did you mean cancelled?

Unless these are German occupation stamps, the stamps of Jersey are not worth much.
Depending on the appearance and whether or not they are mint, it can go up to a couple hundred pounds for a complete collection.

Prices for Channel Islands collections have, like many other areas, nosedived over the years. Here's a current example of the type of substantial collection that NSK mentions -

Hi Jayne,

Jersey has issued revenue stamps with £100 face values.

Here's an example from my own collection:

This stamp has a "specimen" overprint which I expect in this case reduces its value significantly.

However, if your stamps have been used and, most importantly, are in good (i.e. "very fine") condition, there may be collectors who would be very interested.

These stamps are listed in my very old Barefoot "Great Britain Revenue" catalogue but this is much too old to give meaningful prices.

Hi Jayne,

Thanks for posting your stamps.

These ones have all been used at Jersey's Registre Public and here's a link to that organisation along with probably far too much information!

https://www.gov.je/Government/Nonex...ervices.aspx

These revenue stamps basically paid "stamp duties", i.e. taxes on various financial transactions.
