I haven't had a whole lot of luck with Australian stamps when it comes to finding ones with flaws.

This is, however, the most interesting Tasmanian issue I've come across so far. It has multiple white flaws, plus a couple of vertical white lines.

I wonder if it's been spotted by anyone before.

Certainly a disturbed printing. Interesting. The odds are a 1 off example. Thanks for sharing.

Actually, to my considerable relief, I learn that it has been spotted before.

Found on a Stampboards page as 'S4':

This is from the free plating guide available from the Tasmanian Philatelic Society.

The stamp is from the 1911 Stereotype print and can be plated as 2-32.

I'm wondering now whether these are $20 varieties or $200 varieties.

It is listed in the BW catalogue (they have it incorrectly positioned as 4-26) with a CV of $60 or $50 with a 'ONE PENNY' overprint.

Yours appears to have a problem at centre right , a tear? or damaged perfs.

The vertical white lines are often referred to as 'tram lines' and they are not consistent in either their presence or, when present, in their positioning. They are not uncommon and add no value.
