Recently acquired this stamp as part of a lot and have not been able to find out anything about it. It reads "der oberbürgermeister der reichsmessestadt leipzig" which translates to "the mayor of the Imperial Trade Fair City of Leipzig". I assume it was issued between 1937 and 1945 during the Third Reich as the name reichsmessestadt leipzig was the name given to the city by the nazis. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
