Hi, I have done several scans of several stamps at once and I want to multi-crop and straighten those. I have used Photoshop (File /Automate / Crop and Straighten Photos):

but Photoshop automation result is not satisfying at all: borders are cut and it is not straighten

What is especially annoying is that you cannot even use the dirty result and quickly adjust it yourself: when you straighten, you discover that you cannot retrieve the missing part, this Photoshop automation has already delete all the around part.

How can we automatically crop and straighten my scans to get better results?

Irfan View is exceptionally useful for cropping and custom rotation of images.

First do a wide crop around the stamp you want to straighten. Then use the tool that lets you rotate the image a specific number of degrees. Then once it's straight, do a final crop.

The PhotoShop automated straighten feature is great, when it works, but it gets easily confused. If the stamp is alone, on a solid background, with a generous but not huge amount of background around the stamp, it can work well. Takes some experimentation, and sometimes a rough manual rotation and then let automation fine tune it at the end.

Doing manually for each stamp is a too long work. I have tried StampFix it looks very nice.
