I inherited these stamps from my parents, who recently passed away. My guess is that they brought these home from a trip to China in the '70s/'80s and bought them to attach to postcards sent back home. Would appreciate any info on them.
The complete sheet is from 1978. Michel numbers are 1463 to 1467. The value for a strip of 5 is 30 euro (approx. $33)
The strip of 5 pink stamp is from 1979 michel number 1486 with a value of euro 2 and the 60f stamp is from the same issue and has michel number 1489 with a catalogue value of 24 euro.
Don't be confused by market value vs. catalog value. A strip of five from the 1978 sheet is currently for sale on ebay for $5.50, and a set of one each from the Great Wall series (of which you have two) is selling for $0.99.
Condition is extremely important with respect to value, and those examples do not look like they have aged well. The sheet is creased and they have been stored in poor environmental conditions, in particular high humidity as they are curled and not laying flat. While not uncommon, it is more desirable when they are in better condition. They are pretty though, and might look nice framed.
Thanks everyone; I figured they were not worth a lot. They are indeed curled; stored in a drawer in a glassine envelope but apparently did not keep out the humidity. Otherwise they are in pretty good shape.
They may be headed to my next yard sale; I doubt any local dealers would be interested in them.
