Here are some more...
The first set I haven't identified yet. Edit: I just saw that Marca da bollo is a revenue stamp.

The second set is a question.. Is this considered an imperf pair?

I have been identifying and cataloging Italian stamps all day. my eyes are weary.. Is it beer time yet?

PS. I'm still looking for catalog and est. values.. Please.

The very first stamp is Vatican City Sc#9, Pope Pius XI, from 1929, $2 mint in 2008.

The revenues are not listed by Scott, and getting current values is difficult, except for completed auctions on ebay. I hesitate to say that yours are common, because I'm no authority on them. That being said, they are the kinds of stamps that I find in small lots of Italian revenues that I pick up for a buck or three, here and there.

ah, there is always a reason why you get stuff at auctions cheap...

i did find some Hitler/ Mussolini stamps.. the ones without head gear and the ones with head gear.. interesting to read that the second one
was sold as a "fund raiser"...
Like I have mentioned before.. I started this a long time ago and bought some mint US stamp (low value) and have picked up some (like the 1880's 1890's stuff on cover) I put it away when kids came into the picture, now that they are grown, I am rediscovering the hobby.
I am still a newbie.. I am glad I can ask questions and get help from knowledgeable people.

So I have the first stamp and a correction on the bottom stamp. Thanks.
Trying to find "fiscal" stamps in the 2006 scott catalog. (The library is a neat place, hadn't been in one since I was a kid)

Philb, I see the stamp you ID'd as 434, I fine to be Italy as Scott #444, Some of the first issues of the new Allied Italian Government in 1944.

Fiscal = Revenue, so Scott won't have them.

Cjd. thanks I did not know that Fiscal/revenue stamps weren't listed in Scott's.
I guess I thought they did because US revenue stamps are listed.

some #'s to go with.
