That's a very curious item. It looks spurious to me, especially with a name like Bob Paradise, but maybe someone could check the service records. The censored hand stamp also looks printed.

Looks like a normal card to me. Seems to me a clearinghouse operation would have a secondary name/place, etc.

From the NARA (National Archives and Records Administration) database of POW's, it appears fully legitimate. See the last entry:

Further details available from his link on that webpage. Nor did I look up the enlistment record, which should also be available.

This is probably a reproduction, as the Boys town museum has a copy and featured this in a book.

Interesting! Original vs modern repro should be easy tell by any pen indentations and the quality of the strokes.
