I am surprised that more
ebay sellers have not yet implemented videos. It makes the listing really stand out.
I find videos easier (and faster) to do than scanning numerous album pages for listings collections/accumulations. But this may be because I have both the correct PC and applications to generate videos. Rendering high quality videos in reasonable amount of time requires a good PC (read as a $3k+ computer); the amount of time it would take to render a good video on a $899 consumer grade PC is not reasonable.
And you would
not want to use any of the 'free' video editing applications. They might be fine for someone to wants to compile a few vacation videos for the family, but if you want to generate professional quality videos for commercial purposes; buy and learn a decent video editing application.
I can video an entire 100+ page album including the editing in less than 15 minutes. If I were to scan every page independently, it would take me twice as long.
These things may make it harder for an occasional
ebay seller to justify using videos in an
ebay listing, but seller who is listing collections and accumulations is, in my opinion, missing the boat but not using videos.
