I've spent the last hour or so googling myself apoplectic trying to figure out the town of origin in the postmark used on this Hungarian postal card.
Can anyone decipher it for me please?

It appears to read Óésujszivac and may be current Sivac in the Vojvodina, an autonomy in Serbia with a large Hungarian population. It is a combination of Old and New Sivac: Ószivác and Újszivác.

Between 1941 and 1944, Hungary annexed the Backa in which the two settlements are.

According to Google translate, 'és' means 'and'.

So Ószivác and Újszivác becomes Ó és Újszivác that becomes ÓÉSÚJSZIVÁC in the cancellation mark.
