what this value of steamboat cover stamped in 1954 with 1857 stamps
i saw similar cover sold in 1985 auction with 600 dollar with the similar stamps in 1954

Saw about 8 other covers with the same date and logos on ebay selling for about $5-6 each. Obviously an event cancellation. Only difference was they had 1950s stamps attached. Yours looks suspicious because the stamps on it had been demonetized in the 1860s. No idea on the value of the cover.

Not sure if this makes any difference but this steamboat cancellation appears to be different than all of the others for sale. All of the other covers have a steamboat cancel with a line above and below the text. This cover only has the text no lines.

This post also seems to have been duplicated under two different titles.

This is clearly a 1954 era philatelic cover. Street address and boat involved are from that year.

No, Saint Louis Zephyr operated from 1912 to 1918.
