I got this "stamp" back in the 80s. It says it is worth 25 Riyals, and also states Air Mail on it, but is it just a sticker, or a real stamp? The actual "stamp" is circular once peeled.

Country is Ajman and its dependencies. This was mixed with other genuine Ajman stamps.

Ajman: one of the Dunes. Most stamps issued for Ajman are complete fantasies made to make unsuspecting collectors part with their cash.

22 May 1972: Napoleon at Saint Bernard.

Only Michel (of the big names) lists it.

Thank you! I was able to find a picture online on Post Beeld thanks to your identification. Strange that mine is not even crenellated like the one online:

Thanks again!

It exists die cut 10, die cut (no simulated perforations), and in a miniature sheet with simulated perforations.
Apparently, these all exist both in silver metallic and gold metallic (as in the Postbeeld link) inks.

My desert, my Arrakis, my Dune.

More on topic though, Scott doesn't list most of the emerati countries, but Michel does a fine job cataloging it.
