Very good scan!

This is the Type Va, because the third row of dots above the nose has one to two dots missing at the right side. This is Scott 534.

Above the nose, correct? I don't have the catalog in front of me, but the images & details of what's what are hard for me to decipher. And as for dots being added on the head - I don't know how to tell which is which. Do you by chan e know a site with good examples to view and showing the different Types?

Thanks and thanks for the confirm. Strike 2 on me !

your scan is outstanding and looking at it.... I believe what was pointed out to you is the third row of dots ending under the eye is the distinguishing characteristic. You can see that there is room for another dot or two in that area.

Thanks. Glad I asked. Scott description reads, " ... except in the shading dots of the nose. The third row of dots from the bottom has four dots instead of six."

The diagrams for Types V & Va are identical in my 2019 cat and I thought it was referring to the lines under the nose and between the top lip .

Then I noticed this:

And really wasn't sure.... So its under the eye?

Appreciate the follow up. Wm.
