So I've done a little searching - no good results. What's a good starting point when trying to find what type of cancel this is ? I've struck out trying to find online resources. Guessing around ~ 1903 , I see Boston. ' R ' , Received, Registered ?? Some general searing on Google and onsite here - not getting anything. Looking for some direction. Tks!

Boston Mass had no lettered offices, just numbered offices, but for named offices four with an "R" including Revere, Roslindale, Roxbury and Roxbury Crossing. Someone with an on cover example will narrow it down for us.

Edited for more detail.
