I got 2 postage due stamps - 2 cents red.
But they are different colors?
Are there any differences? One is more pink, the other is dark red.
Unfortunately I don't have a catalog for US postage stamps!

According to my Scott catalogue, there are numerous shades of the 1894 & later postage dues. I'm guessing that these are perf 12. By my count, Scott shows 4 different major catalogue numbers and one minor ... with differences based on color as well as watermarks ... for the 2-cent perf 12. In addition, there are multiple shades given for each catalogue entry. Colors/shades include vermilion, deep vermilion, deep claret, claret, lake, carmine, & rose carmine. There are 3 different watermark possibilities ... none, double-line, single-line. Navigating this quagmire might be difficult. I will list the numbers along with appropriate details below. Note that first determining the watermark is likely the easiest path.
No watermark:
J30 vermilion, deep vermilion
J32 deep claret, claret, lake
Double-line watermark:
J39 deep claret, claret, carmine, lake
Single-line watermark:
J46 deep claret, lake
J46a rose carmine
Scott apparently felt the color on J46a was different enough to justify its own catalogue entry.
Good luck!

Thank you very much
Unfortunately you can't get a Scott catalogue in Europe!
I just noticed that they have different colours! But it's also difficult to find postage due stamps online!

Good luck with shades of red stamps. Red is the least stable printed color.
