Question:
Is there such a thing as a "cap" on the right hand "2" only?

In my Scott Specialized, a note following the listing for 220 states " the 220 with 'cap on right 2' variety is due to imperfect inking, not a plate defect."

Search "cap on right" using the forum search feature and you will find long threads from the period 2009-2014 where this was debated. A forum participant insisted that he had a cap on right 2 example and was asking a high price. The evidence otherwise was extensive but he eventually stopped participating in the thread and continued to offer the item as a unique cap on right 2 example.

I hope your question doesn't mean that item has resurfaced for sale.
