Hello all, I'm relatively new to the game and have came across a page of J29-J37 stamps that I'm trying to confirm whether they're all correct. I was told the J29 color was off and that there was a DWM on the J37..
It's a good idea to double-check identifications from previous owners. Thus, let's back up a step and *first* examine the perforation rate of each stamp. Do you have a perforation gauge? Only the first 1c and 2c (the two which stick up highest) and the 10c are perf 12, the rest are perf 11. This is why you are not finding any watermark on your 30c or 50c stamps, which are Scott J66.and J67.
