Going back to his original question, perhaps contact Robert Siegel auctions. They are possibly the most respected auction house for US. Good luck to you sir! |

Quote: Robert Siegel auctions. They are possibly the most respected auction house for US. I did not mention Siegel"s as the OP has not shown any reason to believe he has material worthy of the Siegel auction firm nor enough to make their consignment limit. Again, "classic" means old not valuable. Here the OP is acting as if his next house purchase will be financed by his collection yet is unable to figure out how to contact a stamp dealer but can post on a forum half a world away. He found SCF and there is the Saudi Arabian Philatelic Society in his home country. |

It's definitely different/odd... I just tossed out a good name so he could do his research and reach out. |

It would be funny if OP turns out to be a Saudi Prince with a stack of 613s used on pristine covers. |

Have you found an auction firm that actually wants and will sell you material yet? |

I normally think of Dutch Country as kind of a shovelware auction house. Is that unfair? |

Why not just go to Stamp Auction Network?
Most prominent US auction houses list there. You decide, by looking at their sales, which fits the caliber of your material.
They pay a lot of money to post their auctions. Naturally, they provide all the contact information you need. Very simple.
I expect you are posting for reasons beyond your original question. But, in this hobby there are always patient people willing to help, and I'm gratified by that. |

Quote: I normally think of Dutch Country as kind of a shovelware auction house. Is that unfair? Yes it does seem unfair. While it does move large volumes of material, it also handles some really specialized and rare material as well. But as with all firms, it can only auction what it receives or buys outright. Of course, if the specialized and rare material is not in your area of interest, will one notice? |

Just curious. Have you selected an auction house and sent off your collection? Be sure to keep us informed. |
