Hello,

I searched but did not see this announced yet (sorry if it was, or if this is the wrong place to post this) but I found out today that Ralph E. Trimble died in March of this year. I literally refresh his website every day in the hopes he would post updates again since the passing of his wife in 2021 but no updates came, and sadly may never again. He was an incredible enthusiast for various re-entries and similar printing varieties and compiled an amazing website at re-entries.com. According to a memorial posted here (https://bnaps.org/memorials.htm), it looks like this website will continue thankfully, although perhaps without future additions.

His knowledge and passion will be greatly missed.

Unless you remove the parentheses (brackets) your link to the BNAPS will not work

That is very sad news. I've corresponded with Ralph many times in the past years, noting some new re-entries that I found, and a couple were uploaded to his website. Many others, rightly so, were confirmed as non-re-entries, much to my disappointment, but also increased my knowledge of this area. He will be missed. I hope the website continues in one form or another.

I don't know if Ralph posted much here but I'm sure he read chatboard from time to time. I am happy to have known Ralph personally - quiet yet curious and passionate, with a good eye, and a kind-hearted soul who gave much more back to the hobby than most realised.

For those who are interested, I believe the Greene Foundation is looking into continuing the website but is navigating tricky legal waters to assume stewardship of the domain, so to speak. The website will continue in some form, it will take some time and patience.
