I have just come across this stamp in an auction lot I resently purchase and was wondering if anyone else seen a similar copy. I'm concerned that it is NOT a printing error OR value has been faded by the light. Can anyone help?
It looks like somebody tried to chemically remove the cancel on this stamp (still visible in the upper left part of the design). Or it is simply a badly faded stamp from excessive exposure to uv light.
In any case, this stamp screams "all colors faded by intention".
