I am puzzled when trying to identify New Zealand Victorian SSF issues. Catalogues identify 3 different watermarks and various perforations used for each watermark. As an example of my problem - catalogues identify stamps with (say) perforation 10 as being printed specifically on only one of the 3 watermark papers. However several stamps I have with perf 10 are clearly printed on one of the other watermarked papers which according to catalogues should not be possible
For anyone to help you, you need to be more specific. Which perf 10 denominations with which which watermarks do you think you have that you think are unlisted?
Amec12, you also need to post your question in the Australian section. On each page here is a button that says " Send note to staff " If you ask the staff member to move this to the appropriate section you will get more answers
thanks Petert4522 for your response. I have a few anomalies which certainly dont fit the catalogue listings. For example I have a 2d Lilac stamp perforated P10 which according to catalogues (Stanley Gibbons and Campbell Paterson) can only have the watermark measuring 4 mm between NZ and Star of the watermark. However the watermark on the stamp is actually a clear 7 mm between NZ and Star.
