Defect in the value tablet not uncommon in this stamp series
Underinked in the top pointed portion of the 1.

I've always found it odd that neither Maury nor Yvert picks up on the many shades in this and other of the immediate post-war colonial engraved series.

Normally, the 1 is full height, as is the case with the other values in the series.
