Those labels have been discussed here before

Unfortunately nobody has been able to figure out how they were used, but it seems clear that it a facsimile trying to imitate the Lanman & Kemp facsimile of its private die proprietary revenue stamps.

Thanks!!! I understand then from what I have seen that it is a "reproduction" (of uncertain origin and use) that without copying the original, is inspired by a private printing with pedigree...

I have noticed, in the examples shown in the links, that the "fine" finish example says "Eacles" not Eagles.
On the other hand, in my copy you can notice that the paper has a superficial layer of shiny flakes.

this is the right side piece of a larger label that was used on a rival product designed to cut into the L&K sales by tricking the buyer into thinking they were getting the real thing. the real label had 3 sections and was used as a package seal. Their stamps when they had been required were placed on the bottom of perfume bottles which accounts for the damaged corners often found on `used copies.

I agree that it is probably an attempt to pass itself off as an original model from a recognized brand, but I am not at all sure that it could be part of a large label.. because there are no examples of such a label to prove it (at least I don't I have found them), and even if we refer to the original model from which it is inspired, the vignette is not framed as is the case with these fascimil. This outer frame does not seem to be part of a larger label, and from my point of view it rules out that the vignette could be located to the left or right of a larger label... I think.

The Lanman & Kemp label that it is based on was a much larger label, so it is certainly possible that this was as well. However it does not automatically have to be.

I have also observed that among all the fascimil copies, mine is the one with the worst quality in design, among other notable things, mainly due to the short neck of the eagle...
