I have two Zurich 1843-1846 stamps. Not sure if they are authentic or not.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Coiled Dragon

The cross-hatched backgrounds are pretty good, though. The 4 Rp corresponds to Type III, the 6 Rp to Type IV.
I couldn't find your examples on the reference site:
https://www.vsphv.ch/falschungen/sammlung/

However, the fakes are so numerous the lists are far from complete.
There is a contact possibility on the (German language) website so you might try this avenue.

The red burelage lines are not conform to the genuine.. Wrong sequence of lines.
They look like they are printed over the stamp..
Otherwise the stamp has the characteristics of the genuine., albeit heavy lines .. Photo lithographed forgery or other photo reproduction technique..

Of course they are.
(On this 6 Rp fake, they might not be correctly organised)

They exist horizontally as well as vertically

drkohler ; The word 'Conform' is a intransitive verb meaning " to be similar or identicale".
