Greetings,

I came across this stamp recently and I can't identify the overprint. I unfortunately don't have access to the Persiphila and so I would appreciate any help from the community for pointers or answers.

As far as I can tell, this seems to be an original as it is 11.5x11, the colouring is sharper than other reprints I have of this 1K and the gum is more brownish again compared to the more white of the reprints. But, I'm not an expert on this so don't take my words.

Big thank you in advance! Cheers.

Stumble upon this my pure luck:

https://iranphilately.org/exhibits-...616699673932

It is a "stagecoach" fee print on the 1 Kran which was the price to travel until 1917. The writing translates to "Passage permit for carriage passengers".

Mystery solved!
