Hello to the philatelic minds - I enjoy reading the insights that are often shared, and I am seeking the forums wisdom. I have tried to get somewhat decent pics but realize they are not the best. I have differing opinions on differing days as to this stamp - insight welcome and appreciated. Thanks in advance for your input.

Cheers!

It would be helpful if you gave us some idea of what specific feeatures you want us to comment about.

And to have a scan of the full item to show the complete margins.

That said, it looks like insect damage eating away the surface layer at the very bottom.

Thanks for the response, John B. - I guess it appears to me as an A9 - curious if that is accurate? And for the photos, I am having to trim them back more than desired - I got the larger one to 299.9 KB and squeezed it in but in doing so I lost a bit of the edges. I will keep playing with the pictures and cropping tool to see if I can better the image.

Outer curve is recut at the top so if it's an imperf stamp it would be Scott #9. If it is perforated it would be #23.

Hope this helps, Ray

Thank you Ray - yes, it is imperf and I appreciate the response (that was fairly certain it is a #9) - just like to have another perspective. I did just post a perforated version if you are interested in taking a look at that as well.
