Can anyone please help identifying this stamp. I've read that a shade of this stamp, "cyprus green" which is a paler more yellow/green is rare. The middle of the three stamps below appears to be so. Comments welcomed. Thanks

You first need to establish which issue of the stamp you have - a "simple cypher" watermark or a "block cypher". The "Cyprus green" only occurs in the former, of which Gibbons identifies eighteen shades, many of them very similar to one another. Suffice to say that it is unlikely that one's copy of a common stamp is likely to be a rare shade, and that it is, in any case, not sensible to pronounce upon such shades from a web image.

By contrast, your photogravure issues are nice and simple - a choice between green and bluish green.

Comparing the surface printed stamp with the photogravure stamps is plain silly. Those colours will not look the same even if they are.

As GeoffHa wrote, check the watermark first. There are three watermarks, only one is a contender. Then, consider the description is "very yellow ("Cyprus") green. Yours lacks the yellow tinge. It is almost impossible to identify the shade from a scan. However, I would put my money on a bright green shade.

With the usual caveats regarding pictures on the web and shades, here is one Spink prepared earlier.

Why was this moved to World Back of Book? These are ordinary permanent stamps issued pre 1940.
