This stamp says 1926 vertical coil red Washington 12 perforations but IDK there is so many different kinds can anyone tell me what these might be worth? Also there is no gum on them IDK if it dried or of there was never any gum on them I'm not sure.
Perforations are *not* counted but rather gauged by how many are in a 2cm distance. That said, you have a Scott 599, which is a perf 10 vertical coil stamp. Extremely common.
There may be a translation issue here. You have been informed that there were many billions of these stamps issued, and that used stamps are typically soaked and have no gum on the back. There was also mention of how to determine perforation rate. No one implied you have more than one stamp.
I know that I just find it hard to believe that I have over 400,000 stamps and they have all been used.. It seems like there either never was any gum on the back of them.
By definition, a used stamp is one that has been used. This means attached to something at one point and usually cancelled. In a few cases, someone has been able to remove the used stamp from a document, leaving a small amount of original gum on the back of the stamp. However, it is still used.
A mint or unused stamp has no cancellation and, usually, full gum on the back. (Sometimes there is disturbed gum due to production or environmental issues.)
