Check Siegel power search But it would need a certificate.

I dont wamt to rain on the parade but. Before you run to obtain a certificate. The image is a little fuzy and a bit hard to tell but it does appear the overprint is on top of cancellation. Can you give us a higher respolution image from your scanner.

Edit: correct spelling

Due to an optical illusion, overprints and cancels cannot be judged by scans or photos. Even in person, it's often impossible without using serious equipment such as the VSC6000 to tell.

I will add that the OP's stamp shown above was sold on May 12 2023 by the ebay crook discussed in the old thread I linked above. It went for $12.01.

What is the game here Mr. Cullector?

You did not answer how you come to post (own?) a bogus stamp sold in 2023 on ebay that you were aware was bogus. The value is $12 to someone (you?) who purchased it on ebay.

Looks like one of the many, many fake Shanghai overprints coming out of eastern Europe and being sold on ebay. These fake overprints have floored the market to the point purchasing a Q1-12, JQ1-5 overprint without a certificate is not wise.

If you want to get the proper value, you need to get a certificate reading "genuine" before value can be established. I would not hold my breath nor bet the morning coffee money on receiving such a certificate.

Value is somewhere south, far south from the $12.01 you paid for the fake. Mark the back as a fake and relist it on ebay, there was an underbidder or two below you. Or better yet send it to the APS for inclusion in their reference files for issuing expertizing certificates. ID it as a Romanian ebay fake overprint. Do that and see the respect you get.

Edited: To add the smilie to your quote, the smilie you included in the quote and to make it more like English is my first language. I do not know if it was. seems I was speaking English, Finnish and Hungarian all in the same sentence. My mom had to make two phone calls for translation at times.

The same area? Kazakhstan is 6,000 miles from Romania, and is, as you might say, in the country of Asia rather than the country of Europe.

From the USA that's still all eastern Europe. And not that Wikipedia has much standing, "Kazakhstan, officially the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a landlocked country primarily in Central Asia ]with a small portion in Eastern Europe."

Then again for us, east to west dirt runs some 9500 miles spanning 14 times zones.

Edited to add: That is a Parcel Post Zone 9 distance now, was only zone 8 for a century.
